Through the eyes of the youngest Black Masking Indian Big Chief in New Orleans, "Big Chief, Black Hawk" explores the effects of gentrification, COVID -19, & other issues The Culture faces.

The panel discussion following the screening will focus on how providing youth opportunities for belonging, responsibility, & support can be important components in reducing their risk of exposure to violence.

This event is presented by Tulane's Violence Prevention Institute, Coalition for Compassionate Schools, and NOLAHYPE as part of its National Youth Violence Prevention Week programming.
